Raj Chauhan

Raj is an entrepreneurial, high tech media executive with 20 years of experience in global management, business development and revenue generation for online media and technology companies. From 1995-1999 Raj founded 2 of the first ad networks in the world – Banner Brokers and Click Agents. Click Agents was acquired by ValueClick Media in 2000 for $22m. From 2000 – 2007 Raj worked for publishers - Move, Inc. and Yahoo! Clients included Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Chase Bank, Sony, Toshiba, DIRECTV and Samsung. Raj, and his teams, managed over $150m of advertising budget for their clients.

From 2007 to present Raj has been focused on building exchanges and marketplaces for advertisers and publishers to automate the online advertising process. From 2007 – 2011 he held multiple senior roles at The Rubicon Project including VP of Global Demand. Raj was critical in taking Rubicon from pre-revenue to a $200m revenue trading business within 3 years. In April of 2014 the Rubicon Project went public (NYSE: RUBI). After Rubicon Raj spent 1.5 years as GM of the Publisher Business for OpenX increasing the daily ad impressions in the OpenX Exchange from 50m to 2.5B per day in this short amount of time. From 2012 to present Raj has brought an Australian public company (ASX: ADJ) to the US and Europe as regional president. Raj has been a key influencer in the online advertising market including being on many committees with the Internet Advertising Bureau.

Cortland Connell

Cortland is an entrepreneurial advertising executive with 17 years of industry experience. He specializes in helping brands develop and execute mobile, social, & video strategies.

Cortland’s career in advertising began while he was the National Spokesperson and Managing Director of MediQuest, a mobile preventative health clinic start-up that operated in California, Nevada and Hawaii in the late 90’s. In addition to hiring and managing a staff of Doctors, Nurses, and Medical Assistants, Cortland worked with local newspapers and television stations to secure advertising and news coverage. In 2000, Cortland worked at McCann-Erickson on Nestle and other major brands in Los Angeles. Next, Cortland went to where he closed several 7 figure ad partnerships and developed a B2B reseller marketing strategy with the National Homebuilders Association.

Cortland joined Myspace in 2007 and led an 8 figure partnership with Toyota to launch Myspace Music. The partnership included many online and offline components, including a Battle of the Bands contest that had over 14k compliant band entries. Other clients included: Taco Bell, Red Bull, Jack in the Box, and more. Since 2010, Cortland worked on several video campaigns with his long term clients and also brought on new clients like Comedy Central. In 2012, his first :30 commercial for Wingstop aired online as well as on national TV. He’s also completed dozens of social media campaigns, especially with Influencers on Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter. Recent new clients include: Disney, Sony, Mattel, and Fiji Water.

Michael Brown

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Michael is a 20 year internet media veteran, with extensive experience in ad network management, site development, publishing, and monetization. To date, Michael has founded and managed multiple online based businesses from conception, to profitable operation, to completed acquisition.

From 1995 to 2004, Michael was the founder and Chief Executive officer of ADS360, Inc., a performance based online advertising network. In 2000, Michael co-founded CardCops, initially launched as AD Cops to help fight online affiliate fraud, Michael served as President of CardCops thru 2007, and then as Chief Operating Officer thru 2008, after selling the company to The Affinion Group. The CardCops technology and processes are still used to today by major financial institutions to detect and prevent identity theft.

James Byrd

Over the past 10 years, James has built expertise on both the buy and sell side of advertising technology. An early employee of the Rubicon Project (NYSE: RUBI) he began his digital career on the West coast working in yield management performance teams. James formed a foundation of how technology can streamline and provide massive amounts of useable data for advertisers. Most recently at Star Tribune James spearheaded the hyper growth of their digital business. He also created a successful trading desk at Star Tribune built on data driven, performance marketing for major advertisers including General Mills, Best Buy and Target.

Adam Garner

Adam is a creative director, designer and strategist, equally at home bouncing around many disciplines in the creative space. With nearly 20 years experience working for major technology brands such as eBay, Cisco, and PayPal leading and executing creative projects at all levels he is comfortable tackling any creative challenge. He also had a stint creating visual effects for movies and music videos. He has a creative and technical skill set that incorporates visual design, user experience, web design, interactive design, motion graphics and video creation.

Chris Boggs

Chris has been involved in digital marketing since 2000, helping dozens of clients directly with their SEO, Paid Search, Analytics, and Social Media. He has spoken at conferences and partner events all over the world about search engine marketing, social media, and integration tactics including the promotion of better SEO integration across marketing channels.

Chris grew up in Europe, Australia and the United States, and speaks conversational French and Dutch. Chris proudly served in the USMC, and is a soccer coach/player and golf caddy for his son in upstate New York.
